FAQ's

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

A: This is a no-sleep training zone. When you work with me, you get sleep support in line with the current evidence around attachment and brain development which means no separation based behavioral modification techniques. When I say that I use gentle tools to nudge towards better sleep, I truly mean it.

A: Yes! I work with all kiddos from 0-5.

A: Don’t tell the toddlers, but babies and their parents in that initial my-world-has-been-blown-apart stage are some of my fav to support.

A: That would be an emphatic ‘no’. No drowsy but awake, no independent-sleep-is-the-gold-standard thinking, and absolutely no hiding in the pantry while your baby cries for increasing intervals.

A: Absolutely yes! I have so much respect for the personal choices you make for your family and will support you in whatever those choices are. I’ve worked with many clients who formula/combo/exclusively pump and don’t bedshare or co-sleep. As a parent who combo-fed my first, I know what it’s like to make those middle-of-the-night bottles!

A: I can’t guarantee any outcomes after our time together, because your baby is a little human with their own unique temperament. What I can promise you is that you will feel supported, empowered, held, seen, and cheered the entire time. I’ll work with you to get to the root of your challenges while protecting your attachment and supporting the emotional well-being of your kiddo. You will have a greater understanding of the ‘why’ behind your baby’s behaviour and feel more connected in your parenting. If during our time together other challenges are identified, I have a wide network of professionals to refer you to where appropriate – think lactation consultant, naturopath, airway-centric provider, nutritionist, chiro or osteo.

A: I don’t believe attachment-based sleep support should be a privilege which is why I started the kind program – an initiative to get more sleep support to the families who need it. The kind program offers 45-minute 1:1 consults on a 6-weekly basis free of charge to at-risk families, Indigenous families, and those experiencing financial hardship. To apply, please email hello@kinpostpartumservices.com or hit the contact me button with a bit about yourself, your circumstances, and your current sleep challenges. *No location restrictions

Buy Me a Coffee

kin postpartum services wiggle yellow
I love creating, educating and supporting parents. It’s my jam.

I often get asked if there’s a way to say thank you for the free content and support on Instagram. There is absolutely no obligation, but if I’ve helped you in any way and you want to show your appreciation you can buy me a coffee.

If you are in need of some sleep support for your little one(s), I can highly, highly recommend Hannah. We engaged Hannah’s advice via her Insta chat option and it was well worth it! We’ve been following the plan Hannah developed with me for less than a week and we have already seen vast improvement!

– Crystal-Leigh

I would highly recommend working with Hannah at Kin Postpartum and the Insta chat option. It was so easy to just chat through DM’s rather than trying to be on a phone call. Hannah was so helpful, she reassured me I was on the right track and had many helpful ideas. I won’t hesitate to reach out again as my little guy’s sleep changes in the future and I need support.

Working with Hannah was full of encouragement and affirmation that I was doing the right thing and that I was an amazing mother for caring for my child, doing contact naps, etc. Hannah was always affirming, a great listener and responded to all of my questions and concerns.

I cannot thank Hannah enough for her amazing, consistent support, cheerleading, virtual love and for normalising newborn/infant sleep through the challenges I had with my baby girl’s sleep. I’ve had a total mental shift and I feel so much better and I feel like I’m a better mama for it.
